How to Write a New Note
- From your notes list, click the + Write a New Note button at the top.
- The Note Number and Date will be filled in for you automatically. You can change them if you want.
- Type a Title — keep it short and poetic, 3 to 6 words.
- Choose which Section this note belongs to. If you're not sure, "The Stirring" is a great starting place.
- Write your reflection in the Your Reflection box. Just write naturally. You can use the small buttons above the box to make text bold or italic if you want, but you don't have to.
- If you'd like, add a Closing Line — a quiet sentence that echoes the heart of your note. This is optional.
- Click Save & Publish at the bottom.
- You'll see a message that says "Your note is live!" — and it is. It's on your website now.
Good to know: After you save, it may take a minute or two for the note to show up on your actual website. This is normal — your site is rebuilding in the background.
How to Edit a Note
- From your notes list, find the note you want to change.
- Click the Edit button next to it.
- Make your changes — fix a word, add a sentence, whatever you need.
- Click Save & Publish to save your changes.
Don't worry about breaking anything. You can always edit again if something doesn't look right.
How to Delete a Note
- From your notes list, find the note you want to remove.
- Click the Delete button next to it.
- A window will ask if you're sure. Click Yes, Delete to confirm, or Never Mind to cancel.
Be careful: Once a note is deleted, it can't be brought back. If you're unsure, it might be better to edit it instead.
What Each Field Means
-
Note Number
A three-digit number for this note: 001, 002, 003, and so on. This is filled in automatically — it's just one higher than your last note.
-
Title
A short, poetic title for the note. Aim for 3 to 6 words. For example: "The Sand Beneath Our Feet" or "What the Body Remembers."
-
Section
Which part of the journey this note belongs to. There are three sections: The Stirring (awakening begins), The Descent (confronting illusion), and The Return (quiet wisdom).
-
Date
The date for this note. Today's date is filled in automatically. You can change it or leave it as is.
-
Your Reflection
The main body of your note. Just write naturally. You can use the small buttons above the box for bold, italic, headings, or quotes — but plain text is perfectly fine too.
-
Closing Line
A quiet final sentence that echoes the heart of the note. This is optional. For example: "Life does not disappear. It simply changes its form."
